Replace the tilting support spring bushings
This guide is for 300L to 475L
Main leg
| Tilt the kettle to 90° | ![]() |
| Loosen the support spring adjustment so that the spring moves freely when grasped by hand. | ![]() |
| Remove the lock pin and remove the attachment pin. |

| Remove and install new tilting lever bushings. | ![]() |

Remove and install new bushings to the support spring head. For easier handling at this stage, you can remove the gas spring completely by lifting it away. If you need to replace the lower bushings, do this while the gas spring is fully removed.

Lubricate the pin with grease (e.g. CU800), reinstall the pin, and fit a new lock pin. Bend the end of the lock pin to secure it in place.

| Loosen the support spring adjustment so that the spring moves freely when grasped by hand. | ![]() |

Remove the lock pin and remove the attachment pin. Remove and install new tilting lever bushings. Reinstall the pin, and fit a new lock pin. Bend the end of the lock pin to secure it in place. Remember to lubricate the pin! |
